Well, the AI age verification gods have finally got me.
YouTube's finally threatening to lock my account for not adding parental supervision to my account all because of some "local" law in Brazil. I'm 25 and I don't even live in Brazil nor have I ever traveled there, why does YouTube require me to ask my mommy and daddy to supervise my account?
When I click "get started", it only gives me the option to invite a parent. And apparently, my "parent" is the Gmail address I used to create my account. Also, when I go to Google's age verification page, it tells me that I'm already age verified. So why is YT all of a sudden thinking I'm under 16 despite already being a verified adult?
NOTE: I would add an image of the message that popped up, but as soon as I clicked through it and went back to the YouTube homepage, it went away and it hasn't shown up for me again since, which likely rules it out to being a bug.
