Okay so I got a question for a hero story idea and mostly wondering if it’s a bad idea or not

So I’m making a hero story, she kind of inherited a dead hero’s powers and now she feels obligate to be a hero herself since he died saving her.

The issue is no one else really has the same powers and the dead hero didnt share much with other heroes.

So I planned that she starts off as a sidekick to a local notable hero who knew him.

Issue is she has a moment that taught her current mentor he can’t teach her. She needs to control her powers more, she needs to have teammates, she needs allies who are more like her than a hero who is almost 40 years her senior and a lower power level.

So I plan thst she is sent to a super academy to become a hero in her own with other people who want to be heroes or sidekicks trying to becoming main heroes themselves.

I plan to go into her after graduation and becoming solo mainly but I want to know if this sounds interesting to people or if I should start with the academy or just cut it out
