Anyone on cholestyramine found that it massively reduces flare ups during the day, but morning urgency remains?
Before I was prescribed cholestyramine I was in a pretty bad period of my life where I was constantly anxious about getting that sudden urgency, and the possibility of having an accident (which amazingly has only happened once in my life, with a lot of close calls).
On cholestyramine this is incredibly rare (only if I have a lapse in judgment and eat a lot of fatty food) and I can go about my day without worrying, but the morning urgency and loose stools remains.
Loperamide helps a bit with loose stools, but there's a risk of going the other way and getting painful constipation. My quality of life is a lot better, but I'd really love to get to the point where I can get up early and instantly leave home without worrying about having to run to a toilet.
