Should I just spend my plat on a kuva sobek

I genuinely don’t understand how the much stuff works or how I obtain the weapon I want, and honestly it seems way too complicated for me to get a kuva sobek. I don’t know how much they go for, but I saw some people on reddit saying they sold a 50%+ kuva sobek for 300p, I think the post was like 6 months ago so are they still around this price now?
