Unpopular opinion: half the rishta problems here are self-inflicted.

Every day it’s the same story:

“Why can’t I find someone decent?”

“Why are people so shallow?”

“Why is the process so exhausting?”

But then you read the details…

“I want someone tall, fair, earning 6 figures, from a good family, same caste, same mindset, modern but not too modern, religious but not too religious, lives abroad (but close to family), and preferably under 27.”

Be serious.

You’ve created a character, not a human being.

And the funniest part? Everyone complains about being judged… while writing their own 20-point rejection criteria.

We’ve turned something that’s supposed to be about companionship into a filtering game where nobody actually qualifies.

At this rate, people won’t end up alone because “good people don’t exist”

they’ll end up alone because their standards are a Pinterest board, not reality.

But yeah… keep saying “Allah will send the right one” while rejecting everyone who doesn’t match your imaginary template.
