Tall people assemble here?

Being tall has always felt like a double-edged sword for me. As a 5’9 girl I have often been turned into an example or the punchline of jokes about tall women. People say things casually, but they don’t realize how much it stays with you.

What hurts more is the quiet part feeling overlooked, ignored, like I somehow don’t fit into the “normal” space everyone else seems to belong to. I have spent so much of my life wondering why being different makes me feel invisible.
