I need some advice!!!

Advice

HAIIII!

So I have a bit of a problem right now...

I seem to have found myself in an incident whereby a girl i thought was my friend stole a phone. The school I go to has proven that she did this using camera footage. However, the school now is under the belief that I played a heavy role in the theft by teaming up with this fake friend. This is due to her lying about me making jokes about stealing phones before and making hand signals at her. I want to clarify that I never did this, as a topper at school, this is out of character for me too! It made me upset as I trusted her a lot for the past three years. Now, I am being called into a disciplinary hearing after our school's one week break for the school governing body to make a collective decision on what should happen next. I have told them nothing but the truth and I am anxious for this meeting as they have mentioned using probability to decide my verdict. I have already been proven innocent and I am confused as to why I am still being involved in this for simply being a thief's friend. My part in this is irrelevant and cannot be backed up with evidence!!! This is only speculation, but I believe she has tried pulling me for one reason- she was meant to be expelled but by bringing in other characters, she is able to ensure she has a lighter punishment. After all, the school would have a bad look if it expelled THREE PEOPLE?? Again, pure speculation here.

So, I have come to Reddit to ask for advice. One: how do you all think I should go about testifying at the hearing and managingmy natural anxiety responses? Two: how can I move on from this fake friendship because honestly it still hurts a lot? And three: what can I do to try and distract myself during my break for the meantime?

Again, I would appreciate all answers!! Thank you <3
