Life after death, reincarnation, and perception

General ✨

I'm going to start off with saying that I'm one that holds pretty broad spiritual beliefs with deities, certain things such as morals and the political ideologies coupled with them, religion, and more. For example, I believe that you can look at certain people having one political ideology taught by their parents, and then they switch to another based on their morals, same with religion. So let's say you grow up as a Christian, but you switch to being Mormon, Jewish, Satanist, Agnostic, etc. You also see people sometimes go from hard right to hard left and vice versa. These are things that, in my personal belief and observations, are so different from each other that I feel like to switch from one to another, that the vibrations of certain things draw you to them. Now I'm nt saying that you're really destined to be Christian solely because of the religion, I mean just look at how many denominations there are in just that one religion. I feel like vibrations of people gravitate towards other people, churches, religious items, or a combination of some. A good example of energy drawing you together is in school when students tend to become friends with a group and that group all later end up to be similar, no matter how different they are at the start (i.e. queer people, religion, ideals, etc.)

With all of that established, another thing I have found is that energy tends to "power" different deities. There's so many different stories of people dying for a moment and going to either different afterlives that coincide with either the religion they follow, or one that they end up following later. And, in the case of atheism or agnosticism, no afterlife at all. Same with deities calling to people, different people tend to report different deities contacting them or calling to them, each experience being as valid as the last given what I've just established. But among those encounters with the afterlife or deities, there tends to be a lot of evidence of reincarnation also taking place. Kids telling parents secrets that only people close to them who've died know, solving crimes that have gone cold, etc. A lot of people also tend to see themselves as being meant to live a certain life, and in my own personal case, memories of a life they don't live and people they just have never met. So, theoretically, if you put all this energy into deities through religious practices (prayer, worship, life devotion, etc.) which sort of powers them, who's to say that if you die, you wouldn't get reincarnated (if that's what you truly believe will happen to you after die) into the life you feel you were meant to live?

I also talk spirituality with one of my friends and they've talked about how they feel death works, and it goes essentially like this: reality shifting as a practice revolves around taking your consciousness and moving it somewhere else, as if to put your conscious mind from one box into another. You can set an amount of time you wish to stay there, 1 month, 1 year, 10 years, etc. and you basically live in that reality. Now imagine all of that, except meditation is replaced with death. instead of putting your consciousness from box A to box B via an intentional practice, death does it for you, either putting it into a "box" that lets you live on through another version of yourself, or another person in another reality entirely. So my idea is that something similar happens, where death kind of places it into another box where you start back from birth, only into the life that you felt you were meant to, the longing for that reality or the belief you were meant to be there is what kind of powers that in place of an afterlife. So let's hypothetically say I'm someone who has a mundane job who feels they're meant for a life of doing good for the environment, wanting to go into environmental sciences to help better the world through helping the nature around us. Only I'm poor, come from the opposite of a wealthy family, and don't have the means to do what I want to do. I live my whole life longing for decades to do good in the environmental field, but I die old. The reincarnation would then work to put my consciousness from the current "box" that it's in and put it into another, then in that second box, I'd be born as a baby, then I'd be growing up in that life to eventually become an environmental scientist who goes on to help improve the ecosystem like I wanted to when I was living in the box before this.

For clarity, this is just an example that I felt was easy to follow with the first idea that came to my mind, but essentially that's my understanding of how reincarnation works. And to wrap the post up, I do wanna say that I get my takes on how spirituality is may come off to most people as weird, that's why I'm using a throwaway account that I plan to possibly come back to for spiritual stuff, but I just wanted to share this perspective with others in this sub as this feels like the most appropriate place to do so
