Help!! Lost my notes from iphone

I erased my old work phone and got a new one. I lost two years of notes that recorded my overtime work. Is there a way to recover it? I didn’t transfer anything which was stupid of me. I’ve tried everything including checking iCloud but can’t recover anything. I called IT, which didn’t help. Is the data absolutely lost?
