Does anyone have any advice on what I can do that might help?
I've been diagnosed with depression about a decade ago and it's something that I'm still struggling with. I'm currently 26 years old and unemployed due to a lot of medical disabilities. I still live with my parents. I spend all day on the phone with my girlfriend while playing video games. Lately my hobbies have been changing. I used to cook, bake, read (teen books because I have limited vocabulary), and even play the guitar. Now instead of partaking in those hobbies I've instead been scrolling like crazy on YouTube and Reddit. I will admit I suffer from addiction, but it's a porn and masturbation addiction. That has been changing too, it's been becoming more frequent and more bizarre videos. I've been letting myself go, barely eating, not showering, staying indoors, etc. I see my psychiatrist on Monday, but each day I feel like I'm falling deeper into depression. I just feel so lost. I'm sure others feel the same way, so I was wondering what helps you personally when you're feeling this way?
