Need help gettin out of 1300-1400 MR

I play Ed, i feel like everytime i throw flicker or even a normal like c.HK i get jumped, and because of that i end up having a constant fear to use flicker. Also i really dont know how im supposed to play neutral, it seems everytime i throw a button the opponent one comes faster, and i feel i walk back too much in fear of a jump or counter hit. And dont even get me started on the corner, i really dont know how to get out
