Missing second period after MMC

I havent taken a pregnancy test. Im too scared. im only a couple days late but my last period was on time, normal, and just like how it should be.

i dont even know if what i have is technically a MMC, i didnt get it explained to me very well.

Ill explain it like this:

i had a miscarriage january 29th, i was maybe 5wks pregnant. Nothing was found on ultrasound so i guess i passed it before i even went to the ER. what was found on ultrasound was a “small collection of blood” not a fetal pole or anything so… i guess it was passed before then? they were telling me its normal not to see anything by 5wks though even with transvaginal ultrasound because its too small. Im not too sure about that. just believing what they say because they are doctors, not me. by feb 2nd my HCG levels were already <5. which means i was good for no more bloodwork.

on Jan 31st, my HCG levels were at 17 (confirming my miscarriage.) because when i went to the er they were at 98 (jan 29th)

i had my first period started around feb 26th-March 2nd and now im waiting on my period to come this month and it has not. i usually always have signs that its going to come and im not. im honestly terrified to take a test because the whole experience was a wreck on my mental health, and still is. I saw on google that this might be normal but im just not sure. My period is never irregular, even while taking BC. Has anyone ever experienced this before?
