brown or princeton?

hi guys! i was recently admitted to both brown and princeton which i am extraordinarily grateful for. i’m having a lot of trouble deciding which one to go to! i have visited princeton and plan on visiting brown very soon. for some context, i go to an underfunded public high school and i am a very mellow, non competitive, more artsy person. i also have had mental health issues in the past that i am concerned about exacerbating at princeton. cost is relatively the same for both schools.

i plan on majoring in history and going to law school. i really like princeton’s campus and town, but i think as a school i gravitate more towards brown due to its laidback atmosphere, social scene, and location. however, i definitely acknowledge princeton has the name factor, prestige and great opportunities and funding that i wouldn’t necessarily get at brown. please let me know what you loved or hated about princeton and what you think i should do!
