Why doesn't TOP go over connecting code editors (like visual studio code) to wsl2?

I got curious about this from a post a few days ago seems like you won't be using the wsl2 terminal by default even if you are running wsl2. Seems like the mods get agro if the terminal is not set up there.

To me that seems crazy and a key part of wsl that they just left out.
