I haaaaaaad to buy the silver shield! It's just too cool!

The Silver Shield "Don't Be Evil" is a highly collectible 1 oz .999 silver round that serves as a provocative critique of the modern tech industry. It is part of the broader Silver Shield collection, known for its "counter-culture" themes and anti-establishment imagery.

Quick Facts: "Don't Be Evil" Silver Round

The Theme: The round's name is a direct jab at Google’s original unofficial motto, "Don't be evil," which was famously included in their 2004 IPO prospectus but eventually removed from the preface of their Code of Conduct around 2018.

Series: It is the 5th entry in the InfoIndCom (Information Industrial Complex) series, which explores themes of data control and digital surveillance.

Limited Mintage: These rounds are typically "mini-minted" for a very short window (sometimes only 7 days), making them rare. For example, the 2019 proof version had a limited run of only 623 units, with even fewer released to the public.

Purity & Specs: It is struck in 1 oz of .999 fine silver and is often minted by the Golden State Mint.

Imagery: The design typically features an "evil" interpretation of a search engine or tech giant, symbolizing a "dystopian future" where information is controlled by a few.

About the Silver Shield Collection

The Creator: The collection was created by Chris Duane, an outspoken figure in the silver stacking community who uses his designs to "wake up" the masses to what he describes as "debt-based slavery".

Collectibility: Unlike standard bullion (like Silver Eagles), Silver Shield rounds often carry high numismatic premiums because of their artistic detail and limited production.

The Message: Every Silver Shield design is intended to tell a story or offer a political/economic critique, ranging from "Never Trust Government" to "Sacred Geometry".
