G3100 Resale

I presently have a g1100 router that I bought from Verizon years ago. I'd love to upgrade to a better (Wifi 6) router but Verizon will only sell me a G3100for the ridiculous price of $400 or $18/month rental. It seems like they won't do anything for legacy Triple Play customers like me. I saw a used G3100 on EBay from a reputable seller(99.1% on 21000 plus reviews) for $50. Any opinions?
