Travel with expired green card

N-400 (Citizenship)

Hi everyone,

I have a few questions about domestic travel and wanted to get some advice from those who may have been in similar situation.

I need to fly to LAX from EWR in 10 days and figure the increased ICE presence and ID checks I want to make sure I have the right documents:

I have an expired conditional green card along with my extension paperwork and I-797 receipt notice

I also have my N-400 paperwork docs (currently in the process, just redid bio metrics)

My passport is valid and still has an active tourist visa

I do not have a real id compliant state id and don’t think I can get one on time

No duis, jail time, parking tickets etc

Would my expired green card + extension notice + valid passport be sufficient for any potential id checks ? I traveled in dec to Miami with my passport and no one asked for anything else but with ICE around I wanted to understand if anyone else had some insights ?

My husband will be traveling with me (american citizen) should I also carry our marriage license as a precaution?
