On holiday, war, claiming asylum

Hi,

My family have visited me in the uk for over 10 years due to the war.

Unfortunately due to the war in the Middle East, they are unable to return to their country of residence, which has cancelled their residencies nor their country of origin, which is directly impacted by war.

The only safe space to remain is the uk by the looks of it.

I wanted to ask if anyone could point me in the right direction. Would they be able to claim asylum due to this?
