Rope for TRS? (Dynamic vs. Static vs. Semistatic)

I just bought a 50 m Edelrid Enduro Static 10,5 mm for my TRS setup.

I made the buying decision a bit hastily, because the rope was on sale for 90€. So now I am wondering if maybe should rather have gone for a different type of rope?

My decision for a static rope was based on Any Kirkpatricks recommendation to use a static rope between 10 and 11 mm. (from his book "On the line")

What is your experience with different rope types for TRS?
