Plug for prep advice

My wife and I are having more and more frequent anal sex, I’d love for it to be the vast majority of the time but nonetheless it’s more and more often. Obviously prep is key and I’m wondering if plugging for a while before (up to several hours) on the nights where it’s likely to happen is a good idea. These are the 3 plugs we have and I’m curious if any of them would work better for anal prep later in the evening. And if not, what plug(s) you guys would recommend for prep!

Is the egg plug the best bet? It seems to be super popular. Any other tips would be great for making anal an easier adventure on those nights where we are taking a gummy and soaking each other up
