Considering the ending of the story, no Part 3, and the unresolved answers, which one would ypu say that was the closest of the 3 love interest of Denji to be the definitive one?

I gave it a lot of thought, between Asa and Reze, and it was a close call.

Out of the two, Denji spent more time and development with Asa, and was the one who he encountered in the reset world, although it is unclear if they do have a lingering connection, their brief hug/fall shows the chemistry is still there, and could be developed.

With Reze, it was love at first sight, instant connection and chemistry, with Reze being the one who only ever saw him as Denji, and Denji even remembering as Reze and not as the Bomb Devil. She worked as the lingering curse for Denji, who in Aging’s world confessed to himself that he loves her, and still does. In the both the original and reset world, there is no clue or sight of where is Reze, but she still left an impact in Denji, in his still lingering desire to go to school.

It can go either way. Asa was the one who he could still end up with, and had the most amount of time with. Denji also destroyed the world for her, even if he eventually “dumped” Asa in favour of Yoru, even with Pochita’s statement that he wasn’t truly happy with herZ On the other hand, with Reze they both had more romantic moments alone, mutual love confessions, and the statement of Denji loving Reze, while he never told Asa she liked her. Denji also chose to left everything for Reze, while he wasn’t even able to let go of his deal with Yoru for Asa. Close call, by in my personal opinion, Reze was the true soulof Denji, while in the end Denji regressed to much because of Yoru to be worthy entirely of Asa, while she had the biggest potential.

Yoru on the other hand, is at best (ignoring all the abuse, manipulation and death surrounding both of them) was more of a fling, or in Denji’s words, “friends with benefits”. Denji got progressively more comfortable with his sexual encounters with Yoru, being more active, instead of his usual passive stance that he had with Reze and Asa. Both of them worked really well together, but were too destructive, and Yoru pushed every button to enable Denji’s worst impulses, to the detriment of his character and Asa.

Which one was closer to be the “Official” Girlfriend of Denji? Reze, Asa, or Yoru?
