BOWP Travel

I recently received my ITA and will be applying for PR soon. From what I understand, it might take around 6–7 months (or even longer) to get the PR card after everything is processed.

In the meantime, I had a question about travel. If my current work permit expires and I move onto a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP), is it possible to travel outside Canada and re-enter without issues?

Has anyone here traveled while on a BOWP with PR in process? Can we explain the situation to the border officer and re-enter, or are there risks of being denied entry?

Would really appreciate hearing your experiences or any official guidance on this.
