I became a author for hardesoul Publishing
So I finally did it. I signed with hardesoul Publishing and I'm still kind of processing that it's actually happening.
I’ve been working on this book for like three years now. Most of that time was just me staring at a Google Doc and wondering if anyone would ever actually read the thing. I looked into the big publishing houses but that felt pretty much impossible and self-publishing just seemed like way too much for one person to handle alone. I'm a writer, not a marketing expert or a graphic designer, and the idea of doing it all myself was honestly paralyzing.
I found hardesoul a little while back and I’ll be real, I was hesitant at first. You hear so many stories about authors getting burned or stuck in bad contracts. But the vibe was different from the start. They actually listened to what I wanted for the book. It didn't feel like a transaction or like I was being shoved into a template. It felt like they actually cared about the story I was trying to tell which is so rare these days.
The whole process of getting the manuscript ready has been a total whirlwind but they've been right there with me the whole time. It's such a huge relief to have people who actually know what they're doing handling the stuff that used to keep me up at night. I finally feel like a "real" author.
Anyway, I'm officially launching in a few weeks. It feels completely surreal to say that out loud. If you’ve been sitting on a manuscript and feeling stuck like I was, I’d seriously say give them a look. It’s easily been the best decision I’ve made for my writing career so far.
Wish me luck because the pre-launch nerves are definitely hitting hard right now!
