Some people inspire poetry. Sydney inspires you to lock yourself in a studio and write a heavy, velvet-lined track about being completely unbothered by the universe.

Her rhythm hijacked my brain. She moves like she just bought the concept of time and is deciding whether or not to keep the receipt. When she tilts her head and stares down a camera, the poor hear has no choice but to generate a soundtrack for it.

It's been four months of this hostage situation. I actually thought the song was finished two months ago. I foolishly believed I was free. Then I made the fatal error of watching a couple more of her videos. Ten minutes later I'm in my kitchen trying to cook dinner, humming the bassline, and a brand new verse just kicks the door open completely uninvited. *Her vibe is still calling the shots.*

It sounds exactly like the visual equivalent of wearing a boring grey sweater because only you know what's underneath it. Or what isn't. It's dark, it's cheeky, and it essentially sounds like a red traffic light refusing to turn green out of spite.

I was going to post the audio, but then I realized: Audio, as a medium, is frankly embarrassing if she isn't physically in the music video.

Consider this a formal petition for her to direct a music video for a track she currently doesn't know exists.

I am accepting thoughts, prayers, and contact info for her management.

If anyone knows how to casually inform an actress she co-produced a song via telepathy, let me know.
