calcium

Heya! I'm planning to get a leopard gecko in the near future. I've researched enough information on the internet, and now I'm here. And so, the owners of your lizards, do you think it's right to leave calcium in the terrarium? Supposedly, the lizard regulates the calcium inside itself. Or, do you think that this is wrong and leopard gecko is not the kind that can consciously regulate calcium in its body, and this will only cause excess and problems? Personally, I'm of the second opinion. But I'm interested in listening to experienced people.
