I need a dose of optimism rn

I just can't anymore... bad stuff is happening literally everywhere, I'm normally the optimistic one but I'm beginning to break

I'm not even American but the Idaho news, plus... everything else happening... are making me increasingly depressed

I pass stealth, so does my fiance (FtM), and we have enough resources to move away from our country on a moment's notice, so we're personally gonna be fine, most likely, but that's not enough, specially because we can't hide and run forever

I worry what kind of world are we heading towards where it is acceptable to be bigoted to trans people and where extreme radicalism of politics is normal instead of, you know, societies based on Republican (Classic, not modern) Ideals of Political Pluralism and 3 Powers of the State

I try to say this will all be over, but I need a dose of optimism over how it will be over... I feel like I'm losing my mind
