Chance me for University of Warsaw (Business/Finance) – Strong GPA but IELTS 6.0

I recently received my IELTS results and I’m evaluating my chances for English-taught programs in Poland, especially the University of Warsaw.

I am:

  • High school: Kabataş Erkek Lisesi (one of the top high schools in Turkey)
  • GPA: ~9.4–9.5/10
  • IELTS: 6.0 overall (L: 5.5, R: 5.5, S: 6.0, W: 6.5)
  • Achievement: 1st place in Turkey at the GYEC Ideathon
  • Projects: I build web projects (next.js/html)

Target programs:

  • Business / Finance / Economics (English-taught)

From what I’ve seen, the minimum IELTS requirement is 5.5, but I assume the actual admitted students might have higher scores.

Questions:

  1. How competitive is admission to the University of Warsaw for Business/Finance?
  2. Is my IELTS score a significant weakness despite my GPA and background?
  3. Are there other universities in Poland or Europe with similar quality where I would have a strong chance?

Any insight from current students or applicants would be really helpful.
