Does anyone else get Dexter vibes from Langdon ?

Not saying hes a serial killer, because that'd be silly but I get the weirdest vibes from him in almost every interaction.

Every exchange he has is so superficial and its like theres nothing behind his eyes.

He does a thing where hes extremely polite and praises everyone effusively but it all feels hollow and shallow. Its hard to explain, but I think its intentional and Patrick Ball is an absolute phenomenal actor.
