TSA update T8 - Mar 27

In case it’s useful for anyone, I have a flight at 6:15pm and got here at 1:35pm. I’d dropped my bag and got my boarding pass by 1:55pm and headed straight to the queue which extended along the concourse and back before some tension barrier squiggles and a further line to get to the actual TSA area. I took close note. In queue at 1:56pm > at TSA Area “entry point” at 2:28pm > through TSA check and carry-on scan at 3:09pm.

Obviously YMMV depending on flight congestion times but there were airport workers walking to queue calling different flights out and escorting passengers forward but I don’t think you should rely on that happening.

Re: ICE, I also saw:

2 actively walking the line (though they didn’t challenge anyone).

1 reviewed my passport 😡

1 was organising the folks at the conveyor belt for my line (and looked like he was sporting his first attempt at growing a beard).
