Am I wasting my time building an app? First time building an app, not sure what’s next

Quick update on my journey.

I thought I was making some progress, but honestly, I kept feeling unsure about what I was doing. It didn’t feel right, and I realized I hadn’t really checked if anyone actually needed what I was building.

So I took a break this week because I dont want to waste anymore time or money than I already have. Just trying to figure out if this is even worth pursuing.

I’ve been looking into different ways to learn about app building—The Lean Startup, some YouTube channels, and Running Lean (compared to others, it gave me a different perspective). The workbook really helped me step back and think through validation and planning before diving in.

Turns out, I didn’t talk to enough of my audience. I ended up building a bunch of features people didn’t actually want.

Feels frustrating to slow down, but better to do it now than after I’ve finished and wasted time. Anyone else tried similar resources and found them helpful?
