So let me get this straight...

Billionaire Tim Sweeney decides not to get a pay cut (even though his salary is probably in the 8 digits minimum), so literal core employees and developers who have poured years of their lives into making Fortnite better don't have to be laid off in massive numbers just because of something nobody wanted (which is the Robloxification of Fortnite) and something that has costed epic so much money for no real reason at all. Most of the played UEFN maps are slop Red Vs Blue arenas with no creativity or soul towards them, and usually contain AI slop art. I just find it so sad to see how the people in the upper sphere of the team don't realise that Fortnite has an identity, one that has been assassinated for a profit. The Metaverse shtick is not cutting it.

What do you guys think? I know I may be late with the topic, but the more I think about this, the more I am baffled by Epic's decisions.
