CBS ($$$) vs. Booth ($)

Hi everyone! Was fortunate to be admitted to both CBS ($130k) and Booth ($40k) in R2.

I’m aiming to pivot to IB post-MBA and long-term would love to break into PE. I currently live in NYC so CBS seems like the obvious option, but from conversations with various individuals it seems like Booth may have a stronger alumni network in PE/VC if that’s my end goal.

I’m also a little nervous about the perceived lack of community at CBS. It seems like Booth may be a little better there and may offer a more traditional MBA experience.

Is Booth worth it for my long-term goals considering the difference in scholarship? Should I take the money at CBS and run? Does the conversation change if I’m able to negotiate with Booth?
