Lab grown organs

why don’t we genetically modify livers to possess the gene that synthesises vitamin c, so that nobody gets rickets, for example those without access to proper nutrition.

and then in the future lab grown organs will become sophisticated enough to grow any organs on demand (😏) so that transplants are infinitely easier and quicker. please let me know your thoughts on why this is the best idea ever
