Is Ethnic Studies a requirement to graduate from CSULB SON?

Major Related Question

Hi everyone! I was just officially accepted into the School of Nursing, and was hoping someone could give me insight on if Ethnic Studies is a graduation requirement or not? I know it’s required for some majors as of 2025, but I didn’t see anything regarding nursing specifically. I didn’t take it at my previous college, and I’ve been reading conflicting information online about whether or not it is needed to graduate. My counselor was unsure about it too, lol. I signed up to take a late start course, but it doesn’t begin for another month. Do I need it to graduate? Or am I safe to assume that, because I’ve been accepted into the SON, I can withdraw from the class? Thank you so much for any help! 💖☺️
