PS5 slim overheating just like my original PS5 - any tips

So I’ve had overheating issues with two PS5s now in two different places I've lived and I’m starting to think it me.

• My original PS5 started overheating after I had it behind my TV for about a year. It would shut off during gameplay (mostly multiplayer).
• Temporary fix was popping off the chassis. cleaning off the dust (very little but some)
• I moved it out from behind the TV after a few times, but it still overheated during more demanding games.

I ended up trading it in for a PS5 Slim.

• Had zero issues at first.
• Then I moved back in with my parents, and now the PS5 Slim is overheating too.
• This time it even happens during sports games, not just intense multiplayer.

Right now, the only “fix” is stopping when the fan starts sounding like a jet engine, letting it cool down, then resume.

I feel like this has to be something with my environment/setup at this point, but it looks ventilated to me. I'm also a pretty clean person.

Has anyone else run into this with multiple PS5s? Any ideas what I should check or change?
