ArtCenter vs SVA for Animation

Hello! I recently got accepted in ArtCenter and SVA's animation programs for Fall 2026. Both are schools I've been really excited about for the past few years, and so I've been having a difficult time choosing which to commit to.

Finance is obviously one of the most important contenders in this. I was luckily given a $36k scholarship from ArtCenter which would carry over each year, while SVA hasn't given any information on aid yet. I do live around LA, so in comparison it would be much cheaper to stay local rather than move to New York. However, I was accepted into the 2nd year at SVA, whereas I'd have to start from Term 1 at ACCD, so I'm wondering if that extended stay is worth it.

It'd be great to hear from anyone familiar with either school for insight on the programs, experience, or SVA's financial aid!
