Legion Go 2 battery limit stuck at 79%

I just got my legion go 2 and installed steam os beta through official channels. I have set my battery limit through desktop mode but I noticed it just stays 79% when I use plugged in. I also had the legion Go s z1e to try and noticed same behavior. Is it normal or some bug ?
