The metro stops for none!
Dated 2022, New Ashok Nagar Metro Station
Some interesting photos of rolling stock passing through during an active fire years ago. Found this subreddit so decided to share upon. The question that it lingers to me is that, why did the metro decide not to stop? Is there a protocol for operators when there's an fire in a building next to the line. (To be honest the building on fire is peculiar in a sense, it one of the closest I have seen to metro line)
The fire was actually pretty strong initially with the smoke cloud actually pretty dense. I can only imagine what could have had happened if there was an explosion, while metro was passing.
