Digital SLR similar to F6?

I'm wondering if anyone knows if any of the current digital SLR line up has similar handling to the the F6. I've had a D200 years ago and a D800 for a few years but the actual body depth was really chunky compared to the slimmer film plane of the F6. Not sure if they've but any of the D series on a diet yet.
