pain when skating :(

hi!! i’m a beginner skater, 24F, and i just recently bought a pair of riedell horizon skates in the size 7. i have very very wide feet and i was told by my local skate shop that riedell is really good for wide feet because it has a wider toebox and other brands. when i skate, i get really bad pain in the balls of my feet. it’s more drastic in my right foot but the pain is present in both. i’ve tried different lacing techniques, taking breaks, and i feel like nothing is working!! i’m worried i might have the wrong size or width. does anyone have any idea? any suggestions would be appreciated!!
