Anyone else hate these Grand Prix events?

Does anyone else feel like they are sick of these Grand prix events?

It seems ridiculous to me how some people can’t even compete in certain episodes, due to not having certain characters. Why couldn’t the characters be available at level 1 for the event, so that if you don’t have them, you could at least participate? Then if you want to actually be competitive, you have to own the characters and have them leveled up. I know it’s against greedloft fear policy, but I feel like that would be a better way to encourage people to part with their money, rather than just their standard fear (of missing out) policy, which also causes feelings of anger, hatred, disgust, repulsion, etc.

The greedloft fear of missing out policy has a secondary effect in alienating a lot of players to refuse to spend money or even quit. Doesn’t seem like good business sense to me.

It‘s even more ridiculous that these are really TIME TRIALS for scoreboard placement. If we are supposed to be competing for the fastest times in each episode, why couldn’t they have just made them actual single player time trials, since this is the Cars season?

These feel more like death matches, rather than a race to get the fastest time.

Getting first place obviously means nothing, if it took forever to do it, because the computers are basically causing nuclear explosions every few seconds. Racing with computers in essentially a time trial event is ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING.

I want to race to get the fastest time, but you can’t do that, when it’s a death match.
