Is dating in San Francisco really this hard or is it just me?

I’ve been spending time in San Francisco and I didn’t expect dating to feel this confusing.

People are nice and interesting, but it often feels like no one really wants something consistent or genuine. Conversations start strong then fade, or it just never goes anywhere.

I’m pretty easygoing, I value peace, and I enjoy meaningful conversations, but lately it’s been a little discouraging.

Is this just how dating is here, or am I doing something wrong? Would really appreciate hearing your experiences.
