endo pain relief

I’ve been dealing with suspected endometriosis symptoms for years and have recently been hospitalised with PID. I have a gynaecology referral in place and am trying to discuss hormonal pain management options with my doctors.

I was previously on a combined pill for symptom management but had to stop due to migraines with aura. I’m now exploring progestogen only options and my doctors have mentioned dienogest as a possibility.

I’ve also tried progestogen only pills previously but found they made my pain worse

I’d appreciate to hear if anyone has found a particular POP that works alongside their endo treatment, or any experiences navigating getting appropriate hormonal treatment through the NHS.

Any advice or experiences welcome particularly around what worked for managing symptoms while waiting for further investigation.
