Cyst popped.

I’ve had a cyst on my inner thigh area near my pelvis for about 4 days. It’s continuously grown in size, and had nearly grown to be about the width of a quarter before today. I was sitting on the toilet when I suddenly felt something dripping down my inner thigh, and when I looked, it was yellow-ish puss slowly seeping out of the cyst. I tried to clean off the puss that came out, but as I was cleaning the area, I pressed down and a bunch more puss was released. I continued trying to clean it, and it continued to come out until nothing was coming out but a semi-clear liquid and small amount of blood. Do I need to visit a hospital to get this cyst checked out? What can I do from home to reduce the risk of an infection?
