How to leverage social media when your product isn't visually exciting

Some products are easy to post because they already look good on camera. Others are useful, profitable, and genuinely needed, but visually they give you almost nothing to work with. That is where I think social media has to shift from showing the product to showing the problem, the result, the customer story, or the small moment that makes the product matter. A boring looking product can still create great content if the angle is strong enough. Behind the scenes, before and after, common mistakes, surprising use cases, customer questions, and simple breakdowns all seem more useful than trying to force pretty visuals that are not there. Curious how people handle this. If your product is not naturally visual, what kind of content actually helped it get attention and turn that attention into interest?
