A fictional baseball game (like one that would be displayed at griller stadium, displayed in the newsletter format)

Home: Tastyville Tomatoes

Away: Burgerburgh Sliders

Score: Tastyville: 12, Burgerburgh: 14. (good heavens the pitchers in this league are awful)

MVP: McNally (DH) 5-6, 6 RBI's and a home run.

WP: Bishop (3.2 IP, 4 ER)

LP: Walker (2 IP, 7 ER)

Burgerburgh jumped to an early lead, depending on a record 5 home runs in the first 2 innings to jump to a 7-1 lead, but Tastyville started to chip away at that lead, gaining the lead in the 6th, and promptly losing it again on behalf of the go-ahead home run by McNally (And some truly terrible pitching) mentioned earlier. A big momentum boost for the Sliders and they never looked back. Doubtless this loaded Tomatoes roster will bounce back after a playoff appearance last season. As for the Sliders, maybe today's game will give their fans some new life after years of heartbreaking losses at the hands of the Tomatoes.

(How did I do?)
