I need help please

Hello everyone, I’m a non-American 17 year old being raised in the US…I found out last fall-winter I had an anal fistula. Since it’s my junior year and studies are super important, my parents want me to stay and finish the 11th grade before I’m taken back to our home country for surgery.

I feel like I’m going to cry and lose my mind it freaking hurts and I have two tests tomorrow and I’m not allowed to eat spicy food because of the fistula and I just I don’t even know guys I watched a fistula surgery video and that shit looked terrifying

Can I please hear some positive recovery stories please I need it
