2D 1N Iloilo trip as a solo traveler
Hi! I'm planning a 2-day solo trip to Iloilo and would like to ask for advice from locals or people who have done something similar. My plan is: April 5 (Easter Sunday) – explore Iloilo City. Places I’m thinking of visiting: • Iloilo River Esplanade • Museums • maybe Festive Walk or SM City Iloilo April 6 – joiner island hopping day tour (Concepcion) A few questions: 1. Is a ₱4,500 budget enough for this trip? (transport from Bacolod - Dumangas, food, accommodation for 1 night, joiner tour, etc.) 2. Would it be better to stay overnight in Iloilo City or Concepcion if my island tour starts early? 3. How easy is it to travel solo to Concepcion from Iloilo City? Are there vans or jeeps going there early in the morning? 4. For Iloilo City, is it better to commute or rent a bike for a day? 5. Any must-visit food spots or places I should add to my itinerary? 6. For those who did Concepcion tour as a solo traveler, how was your experience? I’m quite introverted so I’m a bit worried it might feel awkward or uncomfortable if everyone else is in groups. 7. Was it easy to enjoy the trip even if you’re alone? Did people usually talk with each other or is it fine to just keep to yourself and enjoy the islands? Would love to hear your experiences or tips. Thanks in advance! 🙏
