On the Sakaguchi family

So we know Ouri is the son of an internationally famous actor (who has worked in America) and a nationally famous singer, and himself started acting in grade school long before he became an idol.

In episode 4, a news report on the Sakaguchi family plays in Ouri’s apartment while he listens but does not watch. Said news report claims that Ouri’s father is known to love is wife very much and always make time for his family. Ouri makes what could be a sound of disgust as he hears this. (We all know that the media in the Tamonverse is completely trustworthy snd reliable and should be believed without question. RIGHT?!)

The beginning of the center competition suggests that Ouri HAS experienced heartbreak for real.

When Utage visits the Sakaguchi house, Ouri is alone there, because BOTH parents are out of the country.

We see a flashback of Ouri’s parents telling him that he will always be in their shadow as an entertainer. (Possibly well intentioned, but STILL!)

During the sadly unanimated mountain hike date, Ouri tells Utage that he used to go hiking with his dad.

Later, he provides a fan meeting ticket to Rinka Kai because his mother was supposed to come but can’t because of work.

I’m not sure what the story that connects these things is, but clearly there IS a story. (Note: I’ve only read through volume ten.)

I don’t suppose the manga has covered Ouri’s backstory since Volume 10?
