PSA: My experience trying to minmax mewgenics after 300hours. Best builds, Cloning cats and Items.

Part 1. Builds

Build 1. Fist of Fate + Super Luck cat + Paper Bag (Face)

This build is what I run after much testing and min maxing, there might be stronger combos out there but I doubt so. Keep in mind I'm not considering Jar stuff, imo they are major overkill i'll briefly talk about it at the end. Also get a repair cat in Jar or wherever so you can always bring the same items.

Paper Bag gives Your Charisma is equal to your highest other stat

With superluck you have 25-30 Charisma

With superluck+ you have 80+ Charisma

Problems you can encounter:

a. Creator clone with speed buff going before you.

Solution: Mindmeld Cat and Survivalist Hat (Ambush), read build 2.

b. Damage when you Fist of Fate like reflect when you have a ranged basic atk or thorns.

Solution:

Head: Child of the Glowing One, Gain +1 holy shield every time you end your movement. (This procs everytime you fist, basically unlimited holy shields)

Neck: Veiny Necklace, When you damage a Bleeding unit, heal 3 HP.

Other misc stuff for build 1.

Mutations: Whatever really, cannot miss eyes, bonus turn head, bruise mouth is really good but not needed.

Disorder: Bloody Frenzy + Brave (TBH I haven't had a match up where anything can survive turn one cept the holy balls that fly up when you dmg them)

Weapon: Steven's bag of Rocks should be bis, multi hit with bruise, robotic arm or cat's paw before.

Trinket: Soul Jar, Skill Split, Liquid metal is what I run,

Take note mysterious dice makes it so you don't have to wait till lvl 6 to get fist of fate+

2nd skill: Summon Shade

I used to run wolf form but swapped to summon shade as techinically being able to summon shade 6x on turn one each also with 80 mana is stronger than wolf form but really at that point does it matter. I chose summon shade as summon shade conviently lets you dupe unlimited items so I don't need to do more in terms of breeding rooms I just breed this one type of cat and mindmeld cat.

Build 2. Mindmeld Ambush Cat.

This cat only purpose is to make sure you don't die to creator clone with speed buff.

Survivalist Hat (head) +25% chance to ambush when entering battle.

Clown Makeup (Neck) Triple the effects of your Head armor.

Feather (Trinket) Take your turn earlier.

Mindmeld and Superluck. this can be your repair cat too.

Build Honorable Mentions

1. Ninja Bandana SuperLuck cat. (Easiest to access)

Your Basic Attack has a 10% chance to grant a Bonus Attack.

This 1 item with superluck lets you gain more bonus attacks than you can use. If you don't have access to superluck, many items that boost face slot lets you get the same effect.

2. Sniper Harpoon Cat

Anything that moves itself or gets knocked back dies. I stopped using it cause the main build 1 is too powerful and this becomes redunant as I have to watch out for reflect enemies.

3. Nuke + Peace Symbol Face Paint + Any hold shield giving items/mutations

Very strong and easy combo but really end game the only use is to speed run. Opening battles with 2-4 nukes lets you clear runs in record speed. Again build 1 makes this redunant. I actually do this on my soul jar repair cat. It can nukes 4 times on summon.

Cloning Items

Joker Card with either

Summon Shade or Careful+ passive.

Duping Cats

Cat Rib

Boss fights will retire kittens

Max Dupe = Cap and bells (2) + Copy Cat neck (1) + Copy Cat face (1)

Stunning sets and Cap and bells don't seem to work.
